I started as well.
All material is ordered and as I wanted to wait for the latest version of the tiles, I printed the control case yesterday.

Now the first top part of the tile is printing as I couldn't wait any longer to go on  :D

As I have more time tomorrow, I'm planning on printing the bottom part and flash the software to a NodeMCU that I already have lying around from former projects.

Bottom part done.

I've flashed the NodeMCU, too. So now it's just waiting for parts and maybe printing some more tiles.
Unfortunately I've ordered at Aliexpress so that I have to be patient.  :-\

As my printer is working again (YEAH!!) I printed the slightly thicker top part yesterday:

Looking pretty good. Hopefully my LEDs will arrive soon so that I can start building - finally.

Nice, your tiles look awesome. What thickness did you choose for the top part?

I got two tiles done now. Looking really good although I haven't any reflective tape in the corners of the tiles' top parts, yet.

Has anyone an idea to the following problem I'm experiencing at the moment?
I have a 5V 3A DC Adaptor. When I'm using this one (wiring done like sketched by CdRsKuLL) the NodeMCU keeps bootlooping.
When using the NodeMCU's USB everything is working fine.
