Hi Nathan,

I've been using Inventor for a good while now (all self taught) on a student license. I'm using 2017 version at the moment but I'm only a home non-commercial user so can't afford the full product. I have also played with Fusion 360 which is similar to Inventor but I've not made the final swap over to it yet.

Fusion 360. It's free to anyone who makes less than $100k USD using the software.

I'm using Tinkercad and Cura at the moment.
But I want to give Solidworks a try after I've seen this student program code here in the forum.
