Smaller Print Beds = Smaller Moodlites

I was just wondering what some of us who only have 200x200 print beds can do regarding printing this if the standard size (according to Nanoleaf) is 250w by 209h. (Although all edges are 250 wide).

Hi, My design is slightly smaller so it will work 'just' on a 200x200 bed. You have to rotate it slightly but it does fit!


I did this as 200x200 seems one of the most common sizes.

Hi, that ones Simplify3d, although I also use Cura and Prusa Slic3r too :-) It depends which printer I'm using really.

Hahahaha, I hear ya buddy! Happy New Year by the way - Drink one of those poweraid, gatoraid, or whatever sports drink, they usually help a lot to kill the hangover.

Now about printing.........

Yeah, you're right, it is Simplify3D, and yeah, in that app, it doesnt seem to have an attitude that it's at the VERY edge of the print, but in Cura, it gets a bit pissy that the print is that close to the edge that it would prefer you to scale it down to the safe margins. The question is, how to override that in Cura.

I found if you have skirt or brim enabled on cura it reduces your build area. Make sure you have those turned off :-) Took me ages to figure it out... lol
