Or do you want to make the power block thinner to achieve a better look?

No, it's ok.

That's what my draft now looks like:

It's looking really good ;)

Final stage.

Do you find having 3 leds per corner brighter? Seems the LED's I got don't get anywhere near as bright as the nanos.

I find it quite bright.  :D I'm using it with brightness between 10 and 20, not more. I like it that way.

Hi Spigot,

great build, I love the idea of 3 leds per corner.
What kind of power supply are you currently using to power all 15 panels?

I am currently using the ws2812b leds which in theory use 60 mA per led at maximum.
So the maximum power for 15 panels = 15 x 9 leds (per panel) = 135 leds, which in total use 8.1A at max.
Or are you using multiple power supplies/adapters?

Thanks in advance,

Gotchar

Hi Gotchar.

I'm using power supply from Motorola

The 8.1A would by white (all 3 LEDs On) at maximum brightness, but I don't use that way.

I have these parameters:
Brightness: 10-20
Colors: Rainbow
Pattern: Standard

And there's no problem with power.

Can you give us your .stl file with the two holes. Have you split your cable and use 2 micro usb cables or have you a diffent power supply for each micro usb port?

I'm using only one power supply connected to the micro board. The Wemos D1 and LEDs are powered from this micro board.

The Wemos D1 micro usb is used only for direct connection from my computer.
